| pages 203-204 Mortgage: Morgan Co., Ga.: 18 March 1831, William C. Buffington to John Robson, both of afsd. co. Buffington gave a note to Jones & Ogilby for $39 with interest from 9 Feb. last. John Robson is security. Note is now in hands of Lockwood & Peck. Buffington is also endorser on a note which he traded to Eleazer Lockwood endorsed in 2nd instance, principal & interest due is about $60 on note given by James Mitchell to Wm. C. Buffington now in Superior Court of said co. & Lockwood claiming money from Buffington. Robson stands security for principal & interest due on 1st note. Buffington may be cost in the suit of the other. Buffington’s security to Robson: a negro boy named Sam about 11 or 12 years old, dark complexion, formerly belonged to Sion Boon, decd.
