Martha Russell, widow & relict of Burnell Russell, late of Morgan Co., decd. at March Term 1831 of Superior Court of said co. applied for writ of dower to assign her dower or thirds of the real estate the decd. died possessed of. Three months has passed since the death of Burnell Russell. Legal notice has been given & no objections have been filed. You are to lay off lands decd. died possessed, Lots 177 & 178, parts of Lots 208 & 170, on Hard Labor Creek waters, 20th Dist., Morgan Co., the place where decd. lived at the time of his death. Also, a tract of 303 3/4 acres known as Epps Duke’s old place in afsd. co. Return to next court, 1st Monday in Sept. next, 2 Aug. 1831. /s/ John W. Porter, clerk.
