Catharine Tinsley, formerly widow of Augustin Owens, decd. late of said co., asks for writ of dower of real esate of her decd. husband. Notice has been given & no objections filed. Augustin Owens has been dead 12 months. Thomas S. Bonner, John G. Colbert, Thomas Towson, John W. Starke, & Faulkner Heard to divide land giving 10 days notice & assign 1/3 dower to Lucinda Tinsley (sic) & make return 1st Monday in March next, 22 Sept. 1829. /s/ John W. Porter, clerk. Assign to Catharine Tinsley, widow of Augustin Owens, decd., 71 acres, 2 chains, 7 links, 28 Nov. 1829. /s/ Jno. G. Colbert, Thomas Towson. Plat: 71 acres, 2 chains, 7 links beside 142 acres, 4 chains, 14 links. S. 40 W. 46.94 ch., S. 50 E. 46.50 ch. The 71 acre tract is 15.50 ch. wide, 28 Nov. 1829, B. Woolbright. Sept. Term 1831.
