page 299     Ga.: Writ of Fieri Facias issued from Superior Court of Morgan Co. at suit of Boyd & Phelps against Peter Callan, founded on foreclosure of mortgage. Lewis Graves, sheriff of afsd. co., seized property of Peter Callan. 1 Nov. 1831, exposed to public sale in Morgan Co. & David J. Boyd was the highest bidder, for $700, for lot in the town of Madison, Morgan Co., fronting the public square, 24 feet in front & 200 feet back, adj. house occupied by John S. Walker as a tailor’s shop & Masonic Hall on other side. It is same now occupied by Nicholas Callan as a grocery store, in fee simple. /s/ Lewis Graves, shff. Wit: John Robson, Joshua Eckles, J.P.
