Condition of obligation is John Totty now holds notes on John H. Garrett: (1) 169.56 1/4 dated 28 May 1831 due John Totty & Co.; (2) $142.32 dated 8 Sept. 1829 due 25 Dec. 1829 due John Totty & Co. with credit of $30, 22 Nov. 1831; (3) $35 dated 17 Feb. 1831 due 25 Dec. 1831 to Elizabeth B. Dickinson; (4) $17.50 dated 8 Feb. 1832 due John Totty & Co.; (5) $24.75 dated 13 Jan. 1832 due A. H. Scott. John Totty is now sued in Inferior Court of Clark Co. as endorser on note made by John H. Garrett to John Totty & Co. Suit is now in name of Barton Thrasher, plaintiff, note dated 13 Jan. 1830 for $99.
