Woodall, 7 Jan., made promissory note for $691 to William Sanders for purchase of two negroes, a boy named Jordan & a girl named Emily. 1 Jan. next Woodall promises to pay Sanders with interest. Deane & Fretwell & Jesse Woodall were securities for Johnson Woodall. Security from Johnson Woodall to Deane & Fretwell: negroes Jordan about 9 or 10 years old & Emily about 8 or 9 years old.
