Lewis J. got leave to sell from Court of Ordinary of Oglethorpe Co. Advertised in the Southern Recorder property of decd. Exposed to public sale, Tues., 3 Dec.1834, & Jesse B. Phillips was the highest bidder, for $2035, for tract in Morgan Co., Sugar Creek waters, 242 acres, adj. land of Docr. Randolph King, Skidmore, & others. It is tract on which decd. died, with exception of 2 1/2 acres decreed to the deacons of the Baptist Church of Sugar Creek where the Meeting House now stands, in fee simple. P.
