pages 52-53     Mortgage: Morgan Co., Ga.: 22 Jan. 1830, Noel Mixon to John Robson, both of afsd. co., 3 promissory notes, Madison, Ga., (1) 2 Dec. 1829, due 25 Dec. 1830; (2) 2 Dec. 1829, due 25 Dec. 1831; (3) 2 Dec. 1829, due 25 Dec. 1832. All 3 notes: we or either of us promise to pay W. C. Buffington or bearer $400. All 3 /s/ Noel Mixon,     S. W. Parham. All 3 notes endorsed for value recd. by W. C. Buffington. Notes transferred to John Robson by W. C. Buffington. Security: lot in the town of Madison, one acre where a brick dwelling house, blacksmith’s shop, & coach makers shop known as the dwelling house & shop & lot which Mr. William C. Buffington lately owned & lived on now occupied by Noel Mixon opposite to lot & house of Mrs. Elizabeth Gardner. If Mixon pays Robson $1200 on time with interest, this to be void. /s/ Noel Mixon.
