page 561     Ga.: 16 March 1835, Moses Davis to Thomas B. White, both of Morgan Co., for $2700, in town of Madison, said co., part of Lot 7, 1/2 acre on public square, adj. lot owned & occupied by C. Campbell & Co. as a Tavern the same lot on which the store of said Davis now stands & the Saddlers Shop occupied by David Denning & a lot off the square where Robert Pearman’s stables formerly stood in town, same property purchased by him from Andrew Low of Savannah. Also, Lot 35, 1/2 acre, adj. Lot 36 on N.W. & lot purchased from Andrew Low. The last lot purchased from Robert Pearman, in fee simple. /s/ Moses Davis. Wit: John W. Porter, Benjamin T. Russell, F.
