Young of Baldwin Co., Ga. 13 April 1833, Beal made to Davis Whiting & Co. a promissory note for $16.16 with interest due from 1 Jan. last. Beal, 1 Jan. 1835, made promissory note to Davis Whiting & Co. for $21.72 1/2 with interest from 1 Jan. 1834. Beal, 1 Jan. 1835, made note to Davis Whiting & Co. for $141.64. Notes were traded to Henry F. Young. Beal, 23 March 1835, to Young a note due 25 Dec. 1835 for $250 for hire of 7 negroes. Beal, 20 Aug. 1835, note to Young for $32. Beal’s security to Young: all his undivided interest in tract in Washington Co., Ga., 3000 acres belonging to the estate of William Saffold, decd., which interest Beal is entitled by his intermarriage with Martha Saffold, daughter & heir of William Saffold, decd.
