Witnesses: Chs. Mills, Edward Lankford, John Hawkins, proved 27 February 1749 (1750) by oaths of John Hawkins and Edward Lankford.[52]

On 30 September 1751, land was ordered into one precinct and processioned in St. Paul’s Parish, for John Sims, Edward Sims, John Syme, Supry Hardin, the Sims’s, Widow Prosser, Alexr. Kersey, Henry Tyler, John Archer, Thomas Green, Widow Blagrove, Joseph Crenshaw, James Gentry, David Thomson, Nelson Anderson, and the Tylers. And, that John Sims and Edward Sims see the processioning performed.[53]

15 October 1751, in St. Paul’s Parish, Edward Sims was paid for a barrel of corn for George Arnold.[54]

17 December 1756, Thomas Hardy of Amelia County, sold to William Thomson of Hanover County, for £50, 319 acres, adjoining John Walton, his line to William Darwin’s line, John Tate’s line, Edward Sime’s line.[55]

On 19 November 1759, in St. Paul’s Parish, land was processioned for the lands of John Symes, Edward Sims, Richard Johnson, Suprey Harding’s heirs, David Sims, Sherwood Tinsley, James Gentry, John Shelton, Alexander Kersey, Widow Tyler, John Archer, Thomas Green, Thomas Smith, Blagrave’s heirs, John Jones, Joseph Gentry, Joseph Crenshaw, David Thomson, Nelson Anderson,and Tyler and Camb.[56]

On 30 November 1763, land was processioned in St. Paul’s Parish, for the lands of John Sims, Edward Sims, Richard Johnson’s now Peter Lyons, Suprey Hardin’s heirs, David Sims, Sherwood Tinsley, James Gentry, John Shelton, Alexr. Kersey, Widow Tyler, John Archer, Thomas Green, Thomas Smith, Blagrave’s heirs, John Jones, Joseph Gentry, Joseph Crenshaw, David Thomson, decd., Nelson Anderson, and Tyler and Camb.[57]
