70. William F6Sims (Thomas5, William4, Bruster3, Edward2, William1), called Billy, was born circa 1815, Maury County, Tennessee, died after 1880, Maury County. He married 11 December 1834, Maury County, to Elizabeth H. Brown,[729] born 19 June 1819, died 1901, buried in Bailey Cemetery, Mt. Joy, Maury County, Tennessee.[730]

The Maury County marriage record states that William F. Sims married Elizabeth Brown. The death record for their daughter, Susan Sims, gave her name as Lizzie Wallren.

William F. Sims lived in Lafayette County, Mississippi, in 1840,[731] where he was taking care of his father’s interests. His father, Thomas Sims, owned land and slaves in Lafayette County. In 1839, William F. Sims qualified as administrator of the estate of Thomas Sims in Lafayette County, Mississippi. His appointment was revoked in 1840 and his brother, Thomas P. Sims, became administrator.[732] William F. Sims was administrator of the estate of Thomas P. Sims in Lafayette County, circa 1842.[733]

William and Elizabeth Sims moved from Lafayette County, Mississippi, to Lewis County, Tennessee, where they lived in 1850.[734] Lewis County borders Maury County on the west. They lived in Mount Pleasant, Maury County, Tennessee, in 1860,[735] 1870,[736] and 1880.[737]
