Mora Gillespie Self died 18 July 1893. Mora, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Gillespie, and wife of Duncan Self, in the thirty-fourth year of her age.[865]

In 1900, James D. Self was a telegraph operator in Washington County, Tennessee. Living with him were his daughters, Agnes N. Self, born March 1884; Roxie D. Self, born May 1886; and Margery L. Self, born April 1889. And his father, David K. Self, born July 1831; his sister, Leona C. May, born December 1873; and his niece, Ethel May, born January 1896.[866]

Henry Addison Ferguson,[868] born 3 October 1862, died 31 January 1892, buried Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jonesborough, Washington County, Tennessee.[869]
