Dallas Morning News, 27 March 1928: Mrs. Miller will be buried in Waxahachie. Waxahachie, Texas, March 26. Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Cross Miller, 67, who died at her home in Dallas, will be held here at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her son, E. D. Miller. Dr. S. L. Joekel of Austin, former pastor of the First Presbyterian Church here, will be in charge of the funeral. Burial will follow in the city cemetery. Born in Alabama, Mrs. Miller came to Texas in early life and for about forty years had been a resident of Waxahachie. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. A few years ago she went to Dallas to make her home where a daughter, Miss Harlan, is a teacher in the Miss Hockaday School for Girls. Surviving are the following children: Ed Miller, Waxahachie; Jim Miller of Fort Worth; and Miss Harlan C. Miller of Dallas; three stepchildren, Mrs. O. B. Dunaway of Waxahachie and G. E. Miller of Granger; Miss Ora Miller, Waxahachie; four brothers: O. H. Cross of Waco; E. C. Cross of Italy; Walter Cross of San Antonio; and John Cross of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama; a half brother, Flynn Cross of Alabama; two sisters: Mrs. Mary Coleman of Eutaw, Alabama; and Mrs. Owen Meredith of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Andrew A. Miller, born 1899, died 1900, son of J. H. and E., is buried in Waxahachie City Cemetery.
