She married 27 June 1866, Noxubee County, to John Price Willis,[1804] born circa 1847, died after 1900, Epes, Sumter County, Alabama.

John and Sarah “Sallie” Willis lived in Macon, Noxubee County, in 1870[1805] and in Center Point, Noxubee County, in 1880.[1806] In 1870 they lived next door to Mary Harlan and in 1880 they lived next door to Jehu Harlan, age 63. John P. and Sallie E. Willis lived in Epes, Sumter County, Alabama, in 1900.[1807] John was a cotton seed drummer.
