Dallas Morning News, 28 August 1941: Waxahachie, Texas. Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott Edmondson, 81, wife of the late Y. C. Edmondson, died at her home Wednesday. She was born at Bethel, Ellis County, and had resided in the county her entire lifetime. On 22 December 1882 she married Y. C. Edmondson. She was the oldest child of the late George Henderson Cunningham, pioneer Ellis County farmer and banker. Survived by four sons, Hugh, Roger, G. H., and Jim Mac Edmondson, all of Ellis County, two daughters, Miss Bettie Kate Edmondson, teacher in Waxahachie High School, and Mrs. M. E. Hastings of this city, three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. W. N. Tatum, Corsicana, and Mrs. C. R. Wright, Waxahachie. Burial, Bethel Cemetery.

Hugh had no children.
722. ii. Roger E. Edmondson, born 11 December 1886, Bethel, Ellis County, Texas, died 22 April 1956, Waxahachie, buried Bethel Cemetery, Ellis County. He never married.
