Dallas Morning News, 31 July 1944: George Patterson, Oak Cliff Resident Forty-Five Years, Is Dead. George William Patterson, 74, of 708 South Beckley, native of Waxahachie and resident of Oak Cliff for forty-five years, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was in the real estate business until his retirement several years ago and was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Francis Ward, Miss Gene Patterson, Dallas; Mrs. Bess Adams, Houston; three brothers, Joe Patterson, Dallas; Dick Patterson, Waxahachie; and Henry Patterson, Corpus Christi; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.[3047]

     769.       ii.   Bess Patterson, born circa 1901, Lancaster, Dallas County, Texas, married C. Ben Adams. Bess lived in Houston in 1944.
