33. Patsy5Sims (William4, Bruster3, Edward2, William1), was born 16 July 1787, Hanover County, Virginia. She married after her father’s 14 March 1812 will in Maury County, Tennessee, to  —— Tuckness.[246] It is family tradition that Patsy Sims married Tuckness. No documentation has been found to prove this.

Patsy Sims was twenty-four years old and unmarried when her father, William Sims, wrote his will in 1812.

Two men named Tuckness lived in Maury County, Tennessee. Henery Tuckness was head of a family in Maury County, in 1820. His household consisted of one male under 10; two males between the age of 16 and 26; one female between the age of 16 and 26; and one female over 45. (one male born between 1810 and 1820; two males born between 1794 and 1804; one female born between 1794 and 1804; and one female born before 1775).[247]

On 29 December 1823 in Maury County, Tennessee, the inventory of the estate of Green B. Williams, deceased, was recorded. Williams had accounts on among others, John M. Daniel, John Sims, Thomas Sims, Oliver Cross, John P. Elliott, Jordan Tuckness, and P. P. Winn.[248]

The other male in Henry Tuckness’s household in 1820, born between 1794 and 1804, was probably Jordan Tuckness.
