Francis Asbury Winn is buried in Webb Chapel Cemetery, .3 miles north of Interstate 635 (Lyndon B. Johnston Freeway) on the west side of Webb Chapel Road in Farmers Branch, Dallas County, Texas.
Francis Asbury Winn was the first descendant of William Sims and Judith Cross to move to Texas. He moved from Greene County, Alabama, to Dallas County, Texas, in 1846. Dallas County had a population of about 800 people in 1846.
