| On 20 February 1803 in Greene County, Georgia, Henry Thompson and Mary his wife, sold to Edmond Daniel, all of Greene County, for $500, 150 acres in Wilkes County, on Stephens Creek, land granted to Henry Thompson in the year 1786.43

| | In 1805 in Wilkes County, Samuel Thompson paid taxes in District II next to Wylie Saxon.44 Samuel Thompson was Henry Thompson’s son. Wiley Saxon was Henry Thompson’s son-in-law.

| | Henry Thompson drew two blanks in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery in Greene County. Henry Thompson drew land in the 1807 Georgia Land Lottery as a resident of Greene County, Moore’s District. He won Land Lot 199 in the 9th District of Baldwin County.45 This land is now in the eastern part of Jones County, Georgia, near the present line of Jones and Baldwin Counties. It is about eight miles east of Clinton.

| | In Greene County, Georgia, 29 August 1808, Henry Thompson made a deed of gift of 100 acres to his son, Samuel Thompson. The 100 acres was in Greene County, on Stephens Creek, adjoining Henning Daniel and Evans, the north part of 200 acres granted Henry Thompson, 11 November 1788. This deed wasn’t recorded until 17 November 1846.46

| | Henry Thompson moved from Greene County, to Jones County, Georgia, in 1809. In the Greene County, 1809 tax list, Henry’s sons-in-law, Daniel and Edward Meadows paid taxes in Moore’s Distrct. Daniel Meadows paid taxes on 100 acres on Stephens Creek, granted to Thompson. Edward Meadows paid taxes on 76 acres on Stephens Creek, granted to Thompson. The land of Daniel Meadows and Edward Meadows adjoined their brother-in-law, Samuel Thompson. All of their land had originally been owned by Henry Thompson.
