Martin, J.P. Recorded 14 January 1835.52 Salatha W. Thompson married 25 March 1833 in Pike County, Georgia, to William M. Leak.

| | In Talbot County, Georgia, on 25 February 1834, David B. Bush sold to the deacons of Union Church, two acres of Lot 182 in the 23rd District.53 This sale took place before Marshall J. Thompson and William M. Leak sold their ¼ parts of the lot to David B. Bush.54

| The original will of Henry Thompson: In the name of God amen I Henry Thompson of Jones County and state of Georgia being weak in body but of sound mind & memory do make & ordain this my last Will & testament. Item 1st I give to my daughter Jane Pollard five dollars. Item 2nd I give to my daughter Anne Meadows five dollars. Item 3rd I give to my daughter Mary Sexton twenty dollars. Item 4th I give to my daughter Sarah C. Brooks five dollars. Item 5th I give to my daughter Rebecca Medows five dollars. Item 6th I give to my son Samuel Thompson five dollars. Item 7th I give to my son James Thompson one negroe boy named Alford. Item 8th I give to my son John Thompson one negroe boy named Alen. Item 9th I give to my son Marshal Thompson one negroe girl named Polly and five hundred dollars to him and his heirs forever.
