    Item 10th I give to my daughter Salatha Thompson one negroe girl named Priscilla and one thousand dollars to her and her heirs forever. All the rest of my property both real and personal I give to my son James Thompson, my son John Thompson, my son Marshal Thompson and my daughter Salatha Thompson to be sold at the discresion of my executors or otherwise and equally divided between them, to them and their heirs forever. Lastly reposing special confidence in my friends William Williams and William Harris I do constitute & appoint them executors to this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three. /signed/ Hen Thompson.     Georgia, Jones County: Court of Ordinary March Term 1823. This day came into open court before me Thomas Porch who being duly sworn saith that himself, Benjamin Ledbetter and Samuel Ledbetter were present and saw Henry Thompson sign and execute the foregoing to be his last Will and testament and they were subscribing witnesses thereto and that they subscribed their names as witnesses at the special request of the said Henry Thompson and that he was of sound and disposing mind & memory at the time of its execution. /signed/ Thomas Porch.     13 May 1823, All persons having demands against the estate of Henry Thompson, late of Jones County, deceased, will present them duly authenticated /signed/ William Williams, William Harris, executors.57 4 November 1823, Executor’s Sale - Will be sold on the 1st Tuesday in January next at the courthouse in Clinton, Jones County, 101 ¼ acres oak and hickory land lying within 8 miles of Clinton, also 3 negroes. It being a part of the real estate of Henry Thompson. /signed/ William Williams, William Harris, exors.58 9 February 1832, Georgia, Jones County: Four months after date, application will be made to the Inferior Court of said county when sitting for Ordinary purposes for leave to sell the property of Henry Thompson, late of said county, deceased. /signed/ William F.
