    In 1824, in Jones County, Georgia, Henry Thompson’s estate paid John Hannon for board and schooling. Paid Daniel Meadows for Wiley Sexton as per order $20.00. Paid Daniel Meadows for Jane Pollard, Anne Meadows, Rebecca Meadows, and Samuel Thompson as per receipt $20.00. Paid for boarding Salatha Thompson & making clothing for orphans. Negro boy Alfred, negro boy Allen, negro woman Polly, and negro girl Priscilla were hired out. William Williams, exor.67 John Hannon was paid for board and schooling.
    In 1827, in Jones County, Henry Thompson’s estate paid Martha Finney for board and schooling. Articles were furnished for Marshall Thompson, Selatha Thompson, John Thompson, and James Thompson. Negro boy Alford, negro boy Allen, negro girl Priscilla, and negro woman Polly and her three children were hired out. Wm. F. Williams, exor.68
    In 1828, in Jones County, Henry Thompson’s estate paid sundries for John Thompson, Marshall Thompson, James Thompson, and Salatha Thompson as per account. Negroes Alford, Allen, Priscilla, and Polly and her three children were hired out. William F. Williams, executor.69
    In 1829 and 1830, in Jones County, Georgia, Henry Thompson’s estate paid sundries for Marshall J. Thompson and Selatha Thompson as per account. Negro boy Allen and Priscilla were hired out. William F. Williams, executor.70
    On 26 July 1830, in Jones County, Georgia, William F. Williams, one of the executors of Henry Thompson, deceased, sold to Matthew Wright of said county, having obtained leave from the Court of Ordinary of said county to sell the real estate of Thompson in said county, having advertised agreeable to law, did on the first Tuesday in January 1824, exposed to public outcry in the town of Clinton, said county, a tract of land being part of the real estate, 101 ¼ acres, ½ of Lot 153, in the 9th District of said county, formerly Baldwin. Matthew Wright was the highest bidder for $735. /s/ Wm. F. Williams, exr. of Henry Thompson, decd. Witnesses: James (x) Wicker, Moses R. Mathews, J.P., Robert Beasley, J.P. Recorded 9 May 1832.71
