39. vi. Martha Saxon, born circa 1822, married George Maddox. They lived in Chambers County, Alabama, in 1850.216
40. vii. William Saxon, born circa 1824, died between 1860 and 1870, Chambers County, Alabama, married circa 1845, Araminta ——. William Saxon lived in Chambers County, Alabama, in 1850,217 1855,218 and 1860.219 Araminta probably remarried to Samuel Tucker. They lived in Chambers County, in 1870.220
    7. Rebecca2Thompson (Henry1) was born circa 1795, Wilkes County, Georgia, died after 1860, Taliaferro County, Georgia.221 She married circa 1815, Greene County, Georgia, to Edward Meadows, born circa 1783, Warren County, North Carolina, died 2 December 1869, Taliaferro County, Georgia, aged 86.222 Edward was the son of Isham Meadows. [See Meadows chapter, No. 6]. Rebecca Thompson’s sister, Anna Thompson, married Daniel Meadows, Edward’s brother.
    Edward Meadows paid taxes in Greene County, Georgia, in 1809 in Moore’s District on 76 acres on Stephens Creek, granted to Thompson. Edward’s brother, Daniel Meadows, who married Anna Thompson, paid taxes in the same district on Stephens Creek, on 100 acres, granted to Thompson.
