| On 29 August 1808 in Greene County, Edward Meadows and Daniel Meadows witnessed a deed of gift from Henry Thompson to his son, Samuel Thompson, for 100 acres on Stephens Creek in Greene County, adjoining Henning Daniel and Evans. This deed wasn’t recorded until 17 November 1846.223
