    Henry Thompson, Jesse Lacey, Richard Asberry, William Stephens, Jacob Parkerson, and Timothy McGuire were appraisers for the estate of John Woodall, decd. in Wilkes County, Georgia. Return was made in February 1801. John Woodall and James Woodall were appointed administrators with will annexed, 9 July 1799. Noyal Nelms and John King were securities. Receipts of Robert Woodall, James Woodall, and James Blanks for legacies left by will. John Woodall’s promise to pay Creasy Huckaby $35.00, before 1 January next, signed 5 January 1798.     John Woodall’s will was signed 25 May 1796 and proved 1 January 1799 in Wilkes County, Georgia. The will named wife, Dorothy, sons Joseph, Robert, Jonathan, James, John, and Martin Woodall. Daughters Sarah Blanks, Mary Bays, Martha Medlock, and Eady Woodall. Executors: Edmond Daniel and Ewen Morrow. Test: William Stephens, John King.30
    On 6 February 1798, Edward Stevens of Wilkes County, Georgia, sold to Mary Edwards of Greene County, for £40, 200 acres in Greene County, originally granted to Henry Thompson, adjoining Moses Stephens and Henry Thompson. Witness: James Hammock.31
    In 1799, Henry Thompson paid taxes in Wilkes County, Georgia, in Captain John Bethune’s District RR, on eight slaves, 133 acres of second class land, and 132 acres of third class land on Stephens Creek, adjoining Moses Stephens, granted to Henry Thompson. Henry also paid taxes on 150 acres of third class land in Wilkes County, on Lick Creek, adjoining Jno. Rhodes, granted to Henry Thompson. Henry Thompson also made the return and paid taxes in Wilkes County, for Jno. Wilson on 460 acres of land in Greene County, adjoining Flanigan, granted to Jno. Wilson. Henry Thompson’s land adjoined Isam Meaddows on Stephens Creek, granted to Alexander Thompson. Henry Thompson’s land adjoined James Woodall’s land on Stephens Creek. Jonathan Wilborn adjoined Thompson.32
