Elizabeth Hardeman Smith married second, as his second wife, 18 July 1835, Coweta County, Georgia, to Welcome Parks,698 born 4 October 1781, died 16 March 1850, Coweta County, Georgia.699
    Will of Charles Smith, made 1 October 1834, proved 5 January 1835, Coweta County, Georgia. Wife, Elizabeth Smith all estate both real and personal except what is hereafter named. At her death the one half to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters or their children. Sale of negro, Dempsy, to be equally divided between the wife of Harrison Smith and wife of Miles Smith, my brothers. The latter ones part to be placed in the hands of Isham Smith, Joshua P. Shropshire, and George Glass by my executor. Wife of Miles Smith. Executors: wife, Elizabeth Smith, and her brother Thomas Hardaman. Witnesses: John Featherston, Moses Wilks, John Dickson.700
