John3Hardeman (John2, John1), was born circa 1798, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, died after 1860, Tunica County, Mississippi.721 He married first, 19 December 1822, Oglethorpe County, to Paulina Hill,722 born circa 1804, Oglethorpe County, died 10 December 1827,723 Oglethorpe County, daughter of Noah Hill, who died in Oglethorpe County, in 1805. John married second, circa 26 December 1829, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, to Mrs. Sophia Wesley Hill Lucas, widow of James H. Lucas and daughter of Henry Hill.724 Sophia was born circa 1797, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, died after 1860, Tunica County, Mississippi.
    John Hardeman was guardian of Isaac Hardeman, [his brother] minor and orphan of John Hardeman, deceased, 8 November 1820, in Oglethorpe County.725
    3 December 1823, Oglethorpe County, Daniel McBean sold to John Hardeman & Co., for $800, two lots in the town of Lexington. Witnesses: Zimmy Smith, Isaac Hardeman, Alexr. Hill, Robert Jones, J.P.726 3 December 1823, John Hardeman & Co. to Alexander F. Hill, for $850, two lots in the town of Lexington. Witness: Isaac Hardeman.727
