    105. Thomas4Hardeman (Constantine3, Thomas2, John1), was born 24 August 1800, Davidson County, Tennessee, died 2 December 1884,867 Grenada County, Mississippi, buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Winona, Montgomery County, Mississippi. He married 15 September 1835, Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee, to Lucretia Nash Hardeman,868 born 15 August 1812, Williamson County, Tennessee, died 11 June 1851,869 Yalobusha County, Mississippi.870 Lucretia was Thomas’s first cousin. She was the daughter of John Hardeman871 and Lucretia Nash. [See #100, Lucretia Nash Hardeman].
    Thomas moved to Mississippi before 1835. He owned 320 acres in Weakley County, Tennessee, in 1842.872 He lived in Yalobusha County, Mississippi, in 1850; Carroll County, Mississippi, in 1860;873 and Grenada County, Mississippi, in 1870.874 In 1860 and 1870, Thomas lived at Elliott’s Depot or Station. Grenada County was formed in 1870, partly from Carroll and Yalobusha Counties.

    869 Tombstone, Hardeman Family Cemetery, Grenada County, Mississippi. At Torrence off Highway 7 between Coffeeville and I-55. Take Highway 7 off I-55 toward Coffeeville, turn right on Torrance Boat Landing Road. The cemetery is on private property on a hilltop nestled in trees. It once had a very ornate iron fence around it, but the trees grew through parts of it and ruined it. “Lucretia Nash & infant daughter, wife of Thomas Hardeman. Dau. of John & Lucretia Hardeman, born 5 Aug. 1812, died 11 June 1851, married 1835 Williamson Co., Tenn.”
