page 1     Morgan Co., Ga.: William King, only legally appointed admr. on estate of Lyman Benham, decd., appointed by the Inferior Court of afsd. co. sitting for Ordinary purposes. 8 Dec. 1823, advertized that 9 months after date I would apply for an order to sell real estate of Lyman Benham, decd. 6 Sept. 1824, order made for William King, admr., to make sale of real estate of decd. Sold Lot 75 in 5th Dist., part of real estate of decd., 2 Nov. 1824, at Court House door in Madison, Morgan Co., the place of public sales. James Drummond was the highest bidder, for $1735. 8 Dec. 1824, Lot 75, 5th Dist. of formerly Baldwin now Morgan Co., adj. John Dupree on S.E., Widow Smith on N.E., Umphry Gilmore on N.W., is tract where Lyman Benham, decd. formerly lived, 202 1/2 acres, in fee simple. /s/ Wm. King, admr. Wit: John Chew, Jno. W. G.
