King, legally appointed by the Court of Ordinary of Fayette Co., guardian for the orphans of Benajah King, decd. Order from court have advertised & sold lot of Benajah King, decd., part of real estate of heirs of said King. Sold at public sale, 1 Jan. 1828, & Tolison Finnie was the highest bidder. Guardian for orphans, for $1000, to Tolison Finnie, tract where Benajah King formerly lived, 190 acres in Morgan Co. on Sugar Creek waters, adj. S.E. by the town of Kingston, S. by Hemphill’s land, W. & N. by James Tolison Finnie’s land, S. by E. by Warren Jordan’s land. With houses & improvements, in fee simple. /s/ T. D. King.
