     183.      iv.   Cave Johnson Crockett, born 11 September 1852, Troy, Obion County, Tennessee, died after 1887, married 1874, to Bidie Evans, born 1 January 1855, daughter of John E. Evans.

Cave was a general merchandise merchant in Troy, Tennessee. He received a common school education in Troy, and a business education in Poughkeepsie, New York, and at the age of sixteen entered his father’s general merchandise store where he remained until 1875. He was in business for himself beginning in 1875. Cave was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.[632]

He lived in Obion County, in 1880.[633]
