William J. Daniel lived in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, in 1850.[877] His widow, Mary A. Daniel, was head of the family in 1860 in Marion, Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[878] Lauderdale County borders Kemper County, Mississippi, and is near Greene and Pickens Counties, Alabama.

Their daughters, Isabella J. and Fannie A. Daniel, moved to Dallas County, Texas.
