His estate was filed with the probate court of Runnells County, Texas, 9 July 1914.[1055] 

Thomas J. Hines married second, 11 November 1879, Ellis County, Texas, to Mary M. Tidwell,[1056] born 11 November 1844, died 2 August 1903, buried Bethel Cemetery, Ellis County.[1057] T. J. Hines married third, 8 December 1903, Runnells County, Texas, to Alice Harris.[1058]
