James Fox of Calhoun County, Mississippi. Simeon Roane moved to West Point in 1888. Simeon M. Roane married second, 7 June 1892, to Miss Ella Logan. In 1907, daughter Kathleen Roane was the wife of Eugene Cross of West Point, Mississippi, and daughter Lila Roane was the wife of Ulpian E. Cross of Jackson, Mississippi.
Eugene Cross moved from Mississippi to Marion, North Carolina, and founded Cross Cotton Mill. He was a cotton miller in Gaston County, North Carolina, in 1900. Eugene and Kathleen Cross lived in Marion, McDowell County, North Carolina, in 1920 and 1930.
